This is precursor to Glint (and Glimmer). The leaves that were the source for this piece came in the mail to me in Wales. Using the breath of animals these thin skins, maple, magnolia and ginko leaves transform light to sugar and breathe the leftover back again. I've heard it said that trees are the lungs of the earth. That makes you a tree breather, sucker.
